Lorena Duarte is a dextrous writer whose work has encompassed everything from writing plays to editing magazines to crafting bilingual corporate messaging. She earned her B.A. in Hispanic Studies/Romance Languages and Literature from Harvard University, has over 12 years of experience in the field of marketing and is an award-winning creative force.
The youngest of four children, she was born in civil-war ravaged El Salvador and moved to the United States as a young child. However, subsequent travels to her homeland firmly cemented her Spanish-language skills, her commitment towards the Latino community, and her proclivity towards storytelling.
“I have been stopped all day today by people telling me how much they loved you and your work. And my students said, ‘Incredible, fabulous, inspiring, wonderful, sensational, amazing.’ They also told me, ‘Invite more people like Lorena.‘ I think that will be nearly impossible, because you really are amazing.”
